LG TV screen mirroring
Mirror your Android phone to an LG Smart TV with Screen Share on webOS, and show your whole screen on the big panel.
LG webOS televisions include Screen Share, a Miracast receiver that waits for a phone to connect. Screen Mirror opens your phone's wireless display picker, you choose the LG set, and the entire screen mirrors across, apps, photos, games, and video all included.
How to mirror your phone to an LG TV
- Open Screen Share on the TVPress Home, open the app list, and launch Screen Share. The TV waits for an incoming device.
- Connect both devices to one Wi-FiPlace the phone and the LG TV on the same network for the most reliable link.
- Cast from Screen MirrorTap Mirror Screen to TV, select your LG TV in the list, and accept the capture prompt.
- Confirm and mirrorIf the TV asks to accept the connection, confirm with the remote. Your screen appears within a couple of seconds.
Some LG models perform better on the 5 GHz band. If the picture stutters, move the phone closer to the TV or switch the router band to reduce interference.
Use the LG web browser as a receiver
Every webOS TV ships with a web browser. Open the browser receiver in it, scan the QR code, and Screen Mirror streams your phone over standard Wi-Fi. This browser path sidesteps Miracast quirks entirely and works on a nearby laptop too.
I can't find Screen Share on my LG TV.
On older webOS versions it may sit inside the Device Connector app under "Smartphone." Launch that, choose Screen Share, and follow the on-screen steps.
Does mirroring keep working if the phone locks?
The connection holds while Screen Mirror is capturing, but locking the phone usually pauses the visible content. Keep the screen on for an uninterrupted session.
